Creating a real sense of community is something we care deeply about.

One of our greatest human needs is to belong, to feel known and seen and heard and valued.

In Hebrews 10:23-25 we are reminded to meet together regularly and encourage one another. In the church, this idea of connection and community is often called “Fellowship” based on the ancient Greek word,  “Koinonia.”

Recent scientific studies have reinforced what the Biblical authors knew – connection, relationship and community are crucial for our health and well-being.

At GUC, we know how important finding a sense of community is, and that’s why we provide lots of ways for people to connect more deeply, with God and with each other.
