Through our worship and music you’ll find joy, welcome, and a deeper connection to God.
When you join us on a Sunday morning, you’ll walk into a sanctuary, built in the early 1900s, filled with patinaed wooden pews and beautifully crafted stained glass.
You’ll notice that we sing many of the great hymns of our faith along with some more modern songs, led by our chancel choir and accompanied by piano and the rich, full sounds of our classic pipe organ.
Our worship style is what many might call traditional, but it’s definitely not stuffy. We’re a congregation that loves to sing, express joy, and truly welcomes all.
We don’t run from our doubt. Or apologize for our faith.
In worship, we are comfortable with silence, and also with laughter; with contemplation and also with action. Here we find moments of awe and wonder, an experience of God’s presence, and a deep sense of community — a feeling of home.
Taking religion off that “too high to reach” shelf.
The sermons our ministers preach are grounded in scripture and offer a thoughtful exploration of what it means to follow Christ in this place, in this time.
In the songs we sing and the words we say, we always try to honor God, nurture faith and inspire hope – and we also want to make sure that what we’re talking and singing about is relevant to our lives and the world we’re living in today.
